Kateryna Sokolova

Kateryna Sokolova, the co-founder and creative director of NOOM and SOKOLOVA Design Studio, is an acclaimed industrial designer from Ukraine. Her creative team excels in various disciplines, including furniture, lighting, hardware, electronics, and environmental design.

Born in 1984 in Kharkiv, Ukraine, Kateryna graduated from the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts. She later interned at the German Design University "Burg Giebichenstein Kunsthochschule Halle," earning a master's degree in industrial design.

From 2011 to 2017 collaborated with French company Jarre Technologies, related to developing and designing video and musical hi-tech products around the name and the experience of famous french musician Jean Michel Jarre.

Today, Kateryna Sokolova is an internationally established designer based in Kyiv. She still collaborates with renowned European and Asian companies, including Ligne Roset, Roche Bobois, Forestier, Casala, Driade, Bolia.
